PADERNO WORLD CUISINE A4982799 TRI-BLADE PLASTIC SPIRAL VEGETABLE SLICER
This is a Fluffy Chix Cook’s favorite for making spiral cut veggies. Paderno World Tri-Blade Plastic Spiral Vegetable Slicer is a horizontal slicer with multiple blades that yield different textures such as angel hair, linguini and more. It’s accommodates a larger vegetable diameter. It’s a great choice for spiral slicing or “zoodling” larger diameter veggies (especially those with pithy or seed cores): zucchini, yellow squash, cucumbers, daikon radish, turnips, rutabagas, larger carrots, parsnips, onions, kohlrabi, beets. Smaller veggies don’t work well because it has a fixed position anchor in the center which leaves a core, so veggies such as radishes and smaller carrots, lose a lot of volume while spiraling.
There are some reports that the tri-blade version performs better than the updated model with 4 blades. And it does take up quite a bit of real estate. But for serious zoodlers, the Paderno World Tri-Blade Plastic Spiral Vegetable Slicer is our top pick with a 5 out of 5 star rating.
